Before doing this note that: 1. you will void any kind of warranty and support from the manufacturer if you change the operating system to Xp 2. if you can't find Xp drivers for it then you should stop. An operating system running without drivers can cause serious problems! So the first step would be to search for Xp drivers for your modell. This can be an issue but with some help you may find them. If you can't, then as I said stop right here. If you find them, then get a copy of kill disc and format the partition vista is installed on. I advise you not to format the partition that came with the recovery kit, because if you want to come back to Vista, the only way to do it in this case is to order a new recovery CD from the manufacturer. After formating, boot your laptop with an XP installation disc and there you go. If it can't find any partition available, be sure to disable Native SATA support from BIOS.
